Youth development is asynchronous, meaning that they develop at different rates in different areas, such as physically, emotionally, and cognitively. This is normal but can involve some difficult challenges. We help teens understand their own developmental picture so they can take ownership and create a plan.

We also inform youth about risks in their lives regarding alcohol and drug use, relationship conflict, drama, and violence.

This is all done in the context of learning leadership skills that will help them navigate their complex social environments and sometimes help peers do the same.
